Candidates: take part in the review
If you are a candidate for Kelowna City Council, you can put your name forward for consideration by completing the public questionnaire.
Every candidate answers the same questions, and sitting councillors and newcomers are equally welcome. Your responses may be published so voters can compare candidates fairly.
03 / Neighbours
Talk to neighbours
In an at-large election with many candidates, personal conversations help people find trustworthy information.
Kelowna elects councillors citywide. Voters often feel overwhelmed by the number of names on the ballot. A trusted neighbour mentioning ForChange can make the difference between confusion and an informed vote.
Conversation starters
- “Have you heard about ForChange Kelowna? They’re doing a non-partisan review of council candidates.”
- “There’s a community committee evaluating candidates so we don’t have to research everyone ourselves.”
- “They’re not a slate. Just a group trying to help voters figure out who’s qualified.”
