01 / Why us
Why this committee exists
Voters deserve to know who is evaluating candidates and why they can trust the process.
We would rather earn your trust than ask for it, so we show you exactly who is doing the reviewing.
ForChange Kelowna is reviewed by volunteer residents with relevant professional and community experience. They are not political operatives, and they do not speak for any party or slate.
Their job is to apply a consistent framework and share what they learn with voters, so a crowded ballot becomes easier to navigate.

04 / Independence
Independence & funding
ForChange Kelowna does not operate on behalf of any political party, business group, or external organization.
Committee members serve as independent volunteers. Funding comes from individual sponsorship contributions subject to Elections BC rules.
Contributions fund community outreach, voter education, and communicating committee findings. ForChange is registered as a third party sponsor with Elections BC and follows public disclosure rules for contributions of $100 or more.
Recommendations reflect the committee’s assessment of qualifications, not instructions on how to vote.
